Who Should Write "Your" Articles?
Soon after you see the importance of publishing articles, the question of outsourcing will arise.
In this article, we look at both sides of the issue. Using paid writersThe benefit here is that you can publish a greater volume of material if you don't need to write it all. There are services such as elance.com which will put you into contact with professional writers. By a process of testing, you may be able to find a writer you're happy with. My only experience with this was a flop. I bought a small batch of custom written articles, 5 of them from memory. Two of the short pieces were almost totally devoid of substance - and I could not use them at all. I'd be embarrassed to publish such useless "stuff" with my name on it. Of the other 3 articles, none were impressive in any way. But there is a more important reason as to why I have no intentions of using a paid writer. Writing your own contentWhen somebody reads an article that I've written (with "article by Gary Harvey" embedded somewhere near the end of the piece), then they have experienced a little of me. A little of my outlook and my life experiences. A little of my character, my thinking processes, my values, my insights. Whether I intend to or not, "who I am" shines through in my writing - for better or for worse. Those who like what they've read from me may wish to read more and some will go on to purchase my ebooks and get further training from me. Now if I were to hire another writer, his (or her) articles would have a different feel. My own personal "who I am" factor would not be flavoring those articles. Even if the reader doesn't especially notice it, there would be a dis-connect between those articles and the ones I had authored because every writer leaves a fingerprint on his/her work. So here's where it comes out for me. Every article that carries my name will be an article that I have personally written. Talking about ebooks, I've written a book called Home Business Profits Start Here and I'd be pleased to send you a FREE copy. Simply enter your first name and email address in the form below, and I will send you the download link immediately:
CommentsThe nofollow tag is NOT in use here, so your URL will be picked up by the search engines. That's just one more incentive to join the conversation!
