Today's message is short but if you do this it will make a huge difference over time. And the 'thing' you need to do is... LEVERAGE.

Wasn't it Archimedes that said that? Anyway here is a list of areas where we can employ leverage in our online businesses. The more things we DO leverage, the more powerful our business potential is. It's so significant that influential internet marketer John Reese describes leverage as "one of the most powerful elements of Internet Marketing". He listed ten things business owners can leverage. "1. Your Traffic. This would be visitors to any site or blog that you have. 2. Your Content. This would be any blog post, article, audio file, video, whitepaper, special report, or anything else youve created or paid someone to create for you. 3. Your Incoming Links. Not only does this contribute directly to your traffic (people clicking the links) but it also helps your search engine rankings that can bring you more traffic. 4. Your Opt-In Email Subscribers. If you publish an ezine or collect opt-in subscribers this is a very valuable asset and way to communicate with an entire group of people by simply pressing send. 5. Your Customer Database. This is probably the most valuable asset of all. 6. Your Test Results. This valuable data teaches you what to do next. It can point the way towards what you need to do more of or what you need to never do again. 7. Your Affiliates. If you have an Affiliate Program this list of marketing partners is extremely valuable to your business. 8. Your Research Data. This can include your keyword lists, competition analysis, or anything else. 9. Your Brand. The reputation you have as an author, expert, and/or your business reputation and trust factor is extremely important online. 10. Your Knowledge. Youve probably spent countless hours researching online marketing techniques and have worked hard to figure things out. This is a priceless asset. There are several other Internet marketing assets that Ive left out (domain names, software licenses, employees, outsourced freelancers, etc.) but the above list covers the majority of the VALUE in your business."
